As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production cycle, from order processing to pre-production, final inspection, and delivery. Your primary objective is to maintain a comprehensive and efficient production plan. Beyond technical expertise, you bring a solutions-focused mindset that embraces challenges and change as opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Organise and delegate production, ensuring delivery schedules are met with precision.
Plan strategically, ensuring current production and immediate future is populated and filled, and jobs are properly planned and ready for output.
Allocate production slots and optimise production planning through effective system management.
Ensure all relevant job information is uploaded before production to facilitate smooth workflow processes.
Achieve profit targets by maximizing efficiency and minimising waste.
Collaborate with production and sales teams to adjust schedules as needed, ensuring seamless operations.
Liaise with various departments, teams, suppliers, and managers to foster effective communication and coordination
Uphold and promote ActionPlas values, leading by example.

Skills

Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
Previous buying experience in manufacturing environment
Read and understand engineering drawings
MRP experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Persistence and the ability to influence others
Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
