Sales Support

Job Definition

Sales Support is responsible for the accurate logging, processing, and administration of customer enquiries and orders. This includes entering enquiries into ERP/CRM, validating orders, issuing acknowledgements, and ensuring all supporting documentation is complete. Sales Support works closely with Internal Sales to ensure quotations are correctly recorded and tracked, and with Customer Service to hand over confirmed orders for ongoing communication

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Log all customer enquiries into ERP/CRM systems | Validate order details (pricing, part numbers, specifications) | Enter confirmed orders into ERP/MRP accurately | Issue acknowledgements and transfer to Customer Service for order progress.

Documentation & Administration

Maintain complete and accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders | Ensure customer POs, specifications, and certifications are properly filed and traceable | Support KPI reporting by preparing data for sales and operations | Manage controlled document flow between Sales, Quality, and Operations.

Coordination & Support

Work closely with Internal Sales to ensure all quotations and enquiries are correctly logged and tracked | Provide administrative support to the Business Development team for account packs and reporting | Liaise with Production and Quality on order documentation when required | Flag discrepancies or missing information to Internal Sales or Customer Service.

KPIs

Accuracy of enquiry and order entry | Timeliness of order acknowledgements | Completeness and traceability of records | Internal stakeholder satisfaction (Sales, BD, Customer Service)
